But if you don't insist then you've willingly given them your complicitly, which is what they want, because they fear your resistance. If they didn't fear you, they wouldn't need to silence you or shout you down.

If a govt program costs $1m to run but saves $1t in, say, mental health services, then you can just turn that off and save $1m right?
