  I have learned how surprisingly many of my countrymen are damagingly ignorant, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, and just shitty enough to be trolls for lols regardless of the harm. It’s really really surprising how many people are. But they don’t all vote. What is even more surprising is how many decent people can’t be bothered to vote, even if they aren’t totally on board with the “better” side, to keep the objectively worse side at bay.
