Google Maps has officially changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America” for U.S. users of the app following an executive action by President Donald Trump.

~~Not wanting to defend google or any of the techbro vehicles, but it’s literally obeying the law in this case~~ Nevermind, I was wrong about the binding quality of an EO on the general public.
This is now on other countries to step up and enforce their nomenclature in accordance with historical use, in order to play this game and make these companies obey domestic requirements.
