Pro-Trump Counties Vote to Secede from Illinois, Form New Red State

Seven counties voted in favor of secession, and in six of those counties, more than 70% of voters were in favor of the measure.

honestly my issue with this is there would no longer be 50 states. they need to either coordinate a bunch of different splits so there are 100, or merge two together. there are a lot of states that dont matter at all and dont have any meaningful differences and are right next to each other, and i think they should be merged together if we're gonna add one.
- Add this and Puerto Rico, merge Mass & RI, merge New Hampshire & Vermont
