The point of the lock pick set is to:
a. Get in quietly, if not quickly, and
b. Preserve the lock so it can be bolted again.
For leaving surprise cupcakes.

I like to pick the lock to make sure there's nothing important behind the door. Then I lock it back to shoot it.
