Sync is less demanding on my battery than other Lemmy apps
I've noticed my battery hasn't drained nearly as fast while using Sync compared to other Lemmy apps. Has anyone else had the same experience?

As much as I like the Jerboa and Liftoff apps, the ones I have used other than sync, They're laggy on my pixel 7 where sync is butter smooth. Means to me they're likely acting inefficiently somehow.
Jerboa is laggy on your Pixel 7? it's perfectly smooth for me on my Pixel 5.
Yeah, i'm not the only one. It stutters when scrolling or loading into a post. Sync doesn't do that at all.
I think the issue with Jerboa is that it seems to be constantly fetching new data. It's loading things as you scroll, but it's also reloading the current view with every interaction.
yeah, that I've seen as well, which seemed to correlate with expanding or failing to load images.

• Thunder - Smooth
• Infinity - Smooth
• Sync - Extremely Smooth

Using connect since two weeks or more whit no lagging. My favorite lemming app (Galaxy note 20 Ultra)
