You're simply wrong. And to tell you you're wrong I have literally all of human history to show you. In particular the last election. It doesn't matter what special circumstances you think exists. You have to appeal to the voter. That's essential that's the first step and no other step matters if you don't take that step. You will lose every time if you forget that step.
