I have the autobiography by Edmund Hillary about climbing all the peaks and ridges of NZ as practice for Everest. I should read it to get the dwarf vibe. β°οΈ Misty Mountain ensues ...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEm0AjTbsac
He used places in NZ which replicated different parts of the Everest climb. Same angle, rocks, distance, fissures, etc etc So he was only practicing like 20 metres at a time, just a very specific 20 m. That's so clever. ( I did read half the book ... lol )
