What's this Bug?
- A pair of lovely spiders for you this evening. Ireland.
Both the same species (if I'm not badly mistaken). Both indoors within a foot of one another.
- This just crawled out of my sink
Reverse image search says Russian Leather Beetle but I live in Western Pennsylvania of the USA which it says they aren’t native to. Any ideas?
- identification: what's this flying bug? (Montreal, Canada)
It looked a bit bumblebee-like while flying, but much less so once it landed.. black and orange abdomen, but black and yellow thorax (a bit fuzzy). A good 2cm (almsot 1 inch) long.
- What is this spider?
Found this at home in England. I moved to England from Hong Kong not long ago, so I'm not familiar with local spiders at all. Maybe it's very common?
- What's this big chunker? I found it at night and it's about the size of my fingertip.
I tried to usher it out but it decided to play dead.
- Moth identification verification(EU, Croatia)
Hi,
Comparing to leptiri.hr I think I identified this moth to be of macdunnoughia confusa: https://leptiri.hr/Noctuidae/Macdunnoughia-confusa
For sanity I wanted to do a double check if I'm right, so lemmings please help with verification of this moth from central Croatia, Europe.
Tnx
- What is this bug? Maryland USA
Found one crawling across my kitchen floor, then another the next morning on my kitchen table.
- Found in central NJ
Found just chilling in the middle of the floor, probably around an inch in length. Think it might be a wolf spider.
- Saw a pile of these bugs here in eastern PA, USA
My dad spotted these while doing yard work. He's curious to know if they're invasive. There was a little hole in the ground that they seemed to be crowding into.
- Is this a termite?
This is from Illinois. I think maybe it's a spider wasp, but I don't have any idea what I'm talking about, so I worry that it's a termite.
- What's this Spider found in Ireland?
Moving some of my old posts over from Reddit, thought I'd give people some stuff to ID.
- What kind of moth is this - Eastern Croatia
Location: Europe, Croatia, Slavonija
It has nice black and white spotted wings and black abdomen with two yellow stripes at begining and about three quaters of length.
I would guess this a sort of moth, but could not find corresponding sort on leptiri.hr
Any information is much appreciated.
- A spider pair in BC, Canada
Biggest ones I've seen yet... they were all comfy under an old leaf pile.
- Just to get things rolling; what's this spider? (Ireland)
(I already know what it is, just trying to get some content on this community.)
- Couldn't help myself - I had to make a bug ID community
If you have any cool bugs you're curious about the identity of, feel free to use this space... bugs are awesome. <3
