If you follow this community you are likely already aware of a majority of what this video covers. It seems to have been created as a response to the take down of ROMs on Vimm's Lair.
---
It's a 14 minute video by Modern Vintage Gamer that talks about ROM take downs and how Internet Archive ROM sets have managed to stay up (the Internet Archive page explaining this can be found here), the challenge of dumping games, and how Nintendo isn't doing enough for fans.

- Is there a way to take app-games from Android and play them on pc - without the Google Play store?
I have Stardew Valley and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on my Android phone, and I'd like to put them onto my PC. It seems like most of the ways I've found online include using the Google Play store in some way. Which, is an option. But, though I'm no privacy purist I'd still like to resist giving Google more access to my machines if I can avoid it. So is there a way to rip or move my games from Android to PC without using Google Play?
- How to Download Emuparadise ISOs and ROMs
Firstly, I don't recommend Emuparadise because it has bad dumps, old translation patches, scene ROMs with cracktros, and is generally not a good website. But if you need to use it due to fast downloads, I would recommend CDRomance or The Rom Depot, and check the megathread first for games that are not available on other sites.
Anyway, here is how you can download from it after its apparent shutdown:
- Get a userscript manager
- Chromium-based users: Tampermonkey
- Firefox users: FireMonkey
PS: Greasemonkey and Violentmonkey can also be used, but they aren't recommended due to a worse script compatibility.
-
Get the Emuparadise Download Workaround userscript !Userscript installation process with Tampermonkey
-
Download with the “Download using the workaround script” link !How your download options should look like after the userscript installation
That's all. After installing the userscript, if the page was open before, just reload it to apply the userscript. The games are downloaded using Emuparadise's servers. This also functions on mobile devices.
