For as much grief as we gave Anbernic last year, I have to admit that it’s been a bit weird not seeing very many retro handhelds announced. Thankfully, MagicX broke the spell for me, as the Mini Zero 28 arrived in my mailbox today, so I’m here to share my first impressions.

I'm struggling to stay interested in the game. I couldn't quite figure out the purpose until later in the game... got to catch them all. But catching them all is just kinda boring to do. Maybe it's because I'm 37 and not 12 haha.
I already have a GB; however, I ordered a GBA on eBay with some games that will arrive next week. I plan to mod that one when it arrives.
I want a backlit screen; however, I tried to use the Everdrive GB x7 and noticed huge drops in contrast. Like the system cannot handle the extra voltage needed by the device. I'm concerned I'll have this problem with the screen swap.

Reviews of over a dozen add-on WADs, for the casual Doom player. I am a recreational user. I don't inhale. Idon't exhale flame. I play Doom despite the gore, not because of it. Here are one person's opinions on the playability and cleverness of some Doom levels.

I stumbled upon this page and thought I should share. It's really cool seeing a page like this still up and running, albeit frozen.
