Kinda been wondering since I joined. Tried searching for local posts with "name" but didn't see anything.

I got a notification on telegram from someone saying hey, I responded back and they said why haven't talked for a while and that we know each other.

I asked him if he knew my real name and sure enough he knows my whole fucking real name.

He even has a picture, and I told him I've never seen him before.

Any ideas?

Trying to make a community and every time I click submit, it just goes back to the top of the page to enter a name which I already did. Any help?

@admin@exploding-heads.com -- I think it would be a good idea to begin stylizing a lot of the major country communities with icons (I propose just using the 'flag' icon) and background images.

For instance, I just made the Niger community, and previously made the Panama, Greece, and Malaysia communities, all faithfully with a flag and background image of an iconic site or scenic picture from the country.

Yet, there are some major communities like this that I use frequently that do not have any such icons or background images, like:

India Italy China Japan Russia Ukraine

etc. etc.

My proposal is quite simple: just start throwing up icons & background images for these places yourself, Kapow or local moderators...

Or give me the authority to do so.

I am a high volume user and one of my main interests is in archiving and cataloguing news and major events, and so I can really tell you that I will commit zero site vandalism and only wish to have our site prettier and more enticing.

I also won't object in the least when I am removed from the mod position after adding flag/image to places.

... Let me also say: I am preapred to do this for all 50 states and other communities..!

Would also love to see others participate.

Here is another way we could do it:

Allow anyone to go to these communities and submit a thread called "Proposed Icon & Background" or "Proposed Icon," "Proposed Background" (putting them separately).... and then you can just work yuor way around to adjusting them.

Either way, I think it would be good for the site.

What if instead we took a random drawing and just sacrificed one per year?

So this way they would be incentivised to donate money. But if they wanted to risk it they could try.

Maybe our corn crops would grow better too.
