  • As part of the industrialized lifestyles, could it be the consumption of industrialized foods? Our bodies likely cannot deal with the externalities of industrial farming. Ultraprocessed foods such as industrially refined oils are entirely novel.

It doesn't seem like such a stretch that human bodies then respond with inflammation to try to remove the unfamiliar, to me.

  • Can't pick just one so here're a couple.

"Crypto" used in the context of cryptocurrrencies. "AI", referring only to LLMs. "Research", referring to an indeterminate amount of reading up on the topic at hand, such as in the phrase "do your own research" that's being bandied around in some communities.

  • The water isn't flouridated where I live. There is no particularly remarkable incidence of dental caries in children attributed to the lack of fluoride in drinking water. It might be good in places that are less developed or have poorer access to fluoridated toothpaste.

  • Our bodies are not bomb calorimeters. Calorie intake and expenditure are not independent variables. The human body is more than a simple linear equation. Please, stop propagating these myths.

  • Stellar Blade is a good game.

Also worth mentioning that I learned from this video that Shift Up removed the Playstation region lock that caused the Helldivers 2 controversy universally, so they get kudos from me.

  • Some anti cheat work better than others, and it depends on how much you'd like to play the game that needs it. Plenty of games without.

EAC does not hide its process and you can see it running. If it's not, perhaps it has left files behind, but that's a Windows issue more than EAC's.

  • there's no way for users to reliably remove it

I'm not sure if this is true for the ones backed by the larger companies, like EAC. It's possible to completely remove EAC using their installer.

Games like valorant are filled with cheaters despite using kernel anticheat

In my experience, this is untrue. Valorant isn't "filled" with cheaters in the same way Apex Legends is.
