Yeah. I hate that I post these so late, literally right before. Most people say that's dumb and I would too. The problem is numbers don't lie. Every post has an exponential decay in visibility and people tend to not follow up hours or days after its mention. More people just show up when it's posted 10 minutes before sadly. I hate it.

Because what I'm doing is already.. slightly spammy, I can't post it multiple times to get the best of both world or that would be ridiculous. So I have to post it at the time that works best. I really wish that wasn't 10 minutes before. It's off by everyone's intuition for how it should work including my own. But outcomes don't lie. In one case I'll have no one show up and I'm watching a movie by myself, and the other we actually have people.

For the people who want to plan longer term, it's every Friday at 8pm Eastern.

It's my favorite thing to point out to Nazis. But one time I realized I have too little documentation. I know Ava Braun was something like 14 when Hitler would have first met her. Isn't it odd that researchers who should be pros at caring about and finding the most correct metrics for every topic are obsessed with a proxy for quality that is just about the most disjoint possible? It should be embarrassing.

All aspects of owning a cat really do seem to be negative where owning a dog is a mixed bag.

There is this system where we can compare the relative value of an activity and its relative impact on other activities. It's called prices. When you let them work correctly you don't have to guilt people.

Funny. In the tech world we see zoom vs google meet as zoom is for people who have exclusively soft skills I don't want to talk to anyway. When I see a google meeting I know I'm going to be talking to someone useful.

I like how AI note takers are basically converting the useless act of a meeting into an email because an email is a better product that someone can reference.

If you meeting needs to be converted into an email to make it useful maybe you should just write more emails and have fewer meetings.

It will lead to more dark money. It's very hard to accurately measure a persons net worth when their financials aren't just a house and an IRA like the average person. Especially if they don't want you to see it. You'll never be able to implement that tax in a consistent way.

They will just live in other countries if being a billionaire is illegal.
