But yeah I have a lot of friends who have played it and they all loved it. Seems like if you like mobas it's a good game. If you hate mobas, you are not going to like this.
I mean you can definitely get a headset combo for cheaper so it's not necessarily worth it unless you really like crisp audio quality. I listen to a lot of music too so it was worth it to me to save up and get a nice pair of headphones for like $120. Been using them for like 10 years.
Regardless I would say buy something with a replaceable cable. Those cables tend to go bad before anything else and it's a lot cheaper to buy a new one for $10 than replace an entire device.
Fuck a headset. Mic quality is typically dog shit compared to a stand alone mic.
I recommend you buy a nice pair of quality headphones instead. You're gonna either want those or a nice set of speakers, but typically the headphones are going to be cheaper.
If you decide you want to do some online gaming or voice calls in the future, you can always buy a standalone desktop mic for like $50-100 and the sound quality will be immaculate.

We had a similar issue in a local org where there was a particular organizer who was always beefing with someone. It sucked because they were actually pretty active, but was just a toxic person and when pushed back on it just got even more agitated with no self reflection and proceeded to spend days in the chat just ranting about people. Luckily everyone else wanted to talk about organizing and was being interrupted by this shit so it was easy to agree to just boot them from the org.
Idk I mean yeah this is about as useful as running up to your local zoo and releasing the animals. Doesn't really solve anything, except in this case it also puts a person at risk of further poverty like you mentioned. I think if you care about animal rights you can find more productive ways to spend your time.

I also did a lot of research to find a therapist who was a known comrade/ally in the local community. Very based and started the biggest community groups for trans people in the area.
I think it's important to be able to talk about the world and it's effects in a real way, which you cannot do with a liberal or conservative person at all in my opinion.
There's a lot to say about therapy, but imo it's more systemic in regards to the whole health system (well all systems really), than any criticism I have about the ideas of therapy in general.
There's a lot of different therapeutic treatments for a lot of mental health conditions. Anyone who makes sweeping statements is being overly jaded imo.
I personally have benefited from talk therapy. I think due to my isolation/neglect growing up, it's been helpful for learning to open up in a safe environment. It also was a big stepping stone as someone raised a man who had created distance from themselves emotionally their entire life up to that point.
That being said, I've also had to come to terms with the fact that no amount of talk therapy was going to rewire the parts of my psyche that are fucked due to abuse I had growing up. I've seen that there's different forms of therapy that try to help past traumas, but money is of course tight, and there's no guarantees.
I still thank my therapists for what they tried to help with, and appreciated when they told me straight up "this is out of my wheel house. I think it would serve you better if you found a specialist".
I enjoyed the puppet at some point, but the episodes are always pushing like 1-3 hours, and I barely have time for that, much less repetitive drawn out fucking muppet bits.
