Not the topic at hand but,
it seems Americans hate the idea of installing any third-party messaging apps
For me, I can talk to literally everyone I want to via the stock messaging app (iMessage in this case). I get no value from installing a second messaging app for a specific human or two.
I know this is a BBC article so it might not apply to America, but they are in my yard. All the wasps are hanging around in my backyard waiting to be dicks.

No, I get the point you’re wanting to make. I’m saying from an absolute surface level, it’s atrocious and if I looked like that person did and someone (anyone) painted a portrait of me that looked like that, I’d be upset.
