The switch gets a lot of odd hate for being "underpowered" i actually saw a thread where people stated that it was weaker than a ps2 like bruh. And no it wasn't a joke it was entirely serious over metal gear solid ports to switch which were definitely not the fault of konami being useless shits. Especially considering the vita ran the games better
My dreams. Smashed to pieces. I don't like fromsoft multiplayer cos their network code and anticheat is shit. If they're pivoting into more multiplayer centered games this needs to be flawless
Nintendo gonna start sending out assassins rather than lawyers soon
Bloodborne 2 is real
So I have always been a nerd for shiny games since the 90s and always sought out the latest hardware to look at shiny graphics. The move to ray tracing however for quite a while really disappointed me until this very game. The implementation of even path tracing in cyberpunk is just not that good and whatever unreal 5 is doing looks like noisy horeshit.
This game is the only time I've seen all of the last 6 years of developments come together into one coherent product that actually feels like a step up from what we had before.

I don't have HDR but it represents fine on my screen but the screenshots look a bit darker for some reason.
PC performance always has overhead due to targeting very broad combinations of systems. i can't think of a single time console performance has had parity with PC performance.
The height of RTS 90s early 2000s... I played more or less every RTS game made because it was my favourite genre. May it rest in peace. Thanks blizzard for killing it permanently
Brits say Americans are loud but nothing is louder than a bunch of drunk brits with cooked brains in hot country
Indiana Jones game and Atomfall. Both quite enjoyable exploration games
Been playing it on and off for the last 15 years. My return in 2023/24 was when aion classic came out and I binged the shit out of it. Seen the game evolve from its release incarnation to its current state which is basically dead back to the classic EU servers which were really popular when I was last on. It has quite the cult following.
Kinda wanna play some now
Internet says taxman scamming expat brits out of thousands...
So for the most part its just another wow clone from the deluge of wow clones that came out around the time. But the thing with wow is I found it rather dull, like thematically i didn't like the style or cartoony look at the time and the world felt empty and static. Now aion didn't exactly have a dynamic world but it felt more natural than open plains of mobs walking in circles. I like the art style, it actually ran somewhat nicer for the visuals given being an mmo made in the original cryengine, the abilities and combat much more flashy. It also had flying which was quite novel and pets and big anime swords, some beautifully made areas to boot.
But I can't really explain why i liked it so much. I just simply enjoyed playing it more than other games of the same type even when mechanically they didn't differ that much. The feedback of the game just felt more satisfying and I felt more grounded in the world and rewarded by exploring the content.
