  • Good writeup on your layout - thank you

  • The layout needs to fit your daily use. So if you program a lot in C/Python/PowerShell ... then you need easy access to special chars. If you just write a lot, then you could get away with a simpler setup.

I have a somwhat simple setup - I code a bit but not that much - my 3x5 3-thumb keymap

  • Nice and simple to use šŸ‘

  • ErgoMechKeyboards @lemmy.world

    1000 has joined /emk

  • Looks like a buttefly collection ;-) Nice collection

  • ...and welcome as a mod on the new /c/emk

  • Your Corne tax is accepted :-)

  • Right now I'm using a Corne keyboard with a 42-key layout. Working on a new Corne with 36/34-key layout.

    Something like this layout: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/brianoverby/keymapSVG/main/svg/keymap_3x5-2.svg

  • Like your setup. Iā€™m more a smaller keyboard type - but itā€™s a nice setup :-)
