Difference is that red states tend to take more federal aid than blue states. That approach to holding aid hostage will hurt all, but not as bad in blue states.
Whenever I get out of my car with lights still on and it dings to warn me, I thank it for reminding me. I just know the day I don't do that is the last day that ding will happen!
The issue is a lot of the gun nuts fearing tyranny are fine with this cause it's their team. Republicans have always been hypocrits, and now we can point to chances where they could have fulfilled their dream, but instead have become the bootlicking cowards we all knew them to be.

A walking treadmill has been great at home for me. Just don't use one while playing FPS games. You know how we like to lean with controllers when doing something extreme in game, like leaning over helps eek a little more from the maneuver? Yeah, that happens when walking and gunning. Let me tell you how instantly aware of your misstep you are when that happens!
A vertical mouse really helped me at home with my wrists. I was concerned it would negatively affect gaming, and FPS specifically. While there was a bit of muscle memory retraining the first few sessions of play, it seemed to improve my performance. Bonus, I'd say, since long play sessions would usually lead to slight wrist pain before.
Where it didn't improve performance was with my wife. Or so she says!
Same. Soon as the headlines had two fatal air collisions in like the same week, I was good to drive or not travel at all. Then the harassment of people by federal enforcement further solidified that decision.
Omg, I love you. I've been screaming this since CGPGrey's videos about voting and alternatives to what we have. Getting that is gonna require all existing party members to be cool with a complete loss of power and an increase in the amount of work the have to do to keep their power or get elected.
It'll take the states. However, there are already states trying to ban alternative voting methods.
I really want to try these as a last-ditch effort to fix my brain. Unfortunately, it's not legal here and I'm only looking for a single trip to face and die-off my ego, or whatever. Conversely, if I were to grow psilocybin for this purpose I would feel bad letting the remaining organism die after I got what I needed.
Omg, I think of this a lot when thinking back at the Covid response in early 2020. I really believe that these people never mentally developed past that of a toddler. They have no object permanence, no self-control, and no emotional regulation. They aren't satisfied with some of a thing, they need ALL of that thing.
