I already know that libel is hard to prove, but I didn’t thoroughly understand how fantastically stupid this decision was on Trump’s part. Ten BILLION?!? I don’t see them reaching a settlement anytime soon. Plus, it will keep the name Epstein in the headlines for months (at least), when we’ve already seen how desperate the administration is to move on.

I, for one, am glad that Cuomo will be more aggressive. The election showed that aggression is exactly what people don’t want. Also, equating legitimate criticism of the Israeli government with “hateful speech” is exactly the kind of idiocy that shows how out-of-touch Cuomo is.

This election has energized young voters. Some may have been indifferent before, but the news coverage since the election has been relentless. If anything, Mamdani will become more popular.
