  • What was the point of your comment then if not a veiled suggestion to turn it off?

  • You'd have a much stronger point if all the following were free: bandwidth, server farms, developers, support staff.

Since they aren't, something needs to pay for those. I'm paying to not see that something.

  • I'd say kids are civilians and they've been kidnapped or killed. And I never said the IDF soldiers are civilians.

You'll judge me for willfully admitting I don't have a solution, but it's not my job to have one. I'm just some guy in another country. But I'd rather have this view than supporting an evil government oppressing people or an evil government taking kids hostage.

  • Don't even bother to reply. I'm not going to fuel this shitty thread any further.

Nah I'm gonna pile on. Firefox is better.

  • What's the reason then?

  • I believe all they require is your email, but I understand.

  • But you can make a single account and then it's never a barrier again.

  • During the game awards last year, there was a virtual concert announced in the game Sky: Children of the Light. It started immediately after the awards ended. I'd never played this game before that night. I loaded it up and joined something like 1000 other people in a virtual stadium around the artist in the center. It then teleported you outside where you followed her around, floating through landscapes, the clouds, etc while the concert continued. It was a surreal moment and I've experienced nothing like it before or since. It was way different from an IRL concert or a simple video streamed to my computer. It's hard to describe.

  • Many don't have public donation methods. I'll support them this way instead of not at all.

  • People really don't like video creators getting paid huh...

And this is coming from a pirate that's fine screwing over huge corporations. I really enjoy the work of a lot of YouTubers and love supporting them instead of standard cable.

  • Nope not that at all. I'm against all war is all. And many people in many countries all around the world are benefiting from awful wars that happened centuries before they were born, possibly from people they aren't even descended from. To call me and anyone else who moved to the US afterwards "colonists" is imo a misrepresentation and unfair. And I'm not saying the native Americans don't deserve more than they're been given so far.

My point is more getting people thinking about how tribes that early Americans wronged were also wronged before that. If we fix things to return them to how it was, why does the final state of tribes before European arrival get chosen as the correct state? We likely have no idea who was on specific land first here in America. We just know the final state and some of the preceding wars before then. Keep going back and there's always a new victim.

  • Why is only one relevant? Is it the brutality of the war that matters? Or the recency?

  • What about the tribes that lost wars to other tribes? Do they get their old land? How far back are we going?

  • He's a billionaire, he's a conservative, and he's spouted falsehoods about covid.

I disliked him when he was less rich and more liberal after he called that dude a pedo because he didn't like Musk's idea for saving those trapped kids. He's a child.

  • Rocket man is bad. Are you implying he isn't? Two things can be bad at once.

  • Worse, not worst.

  • How is that an insult? Those are amazing parts of German culture.
