If you have to pick only one Desktop Environment and use it till your computer breaks, what would you choose?

  • I'm in either terminal or browser most of the time, DE is not an issue for me... KDE has an easy battery life optimization feature for laptops, so I guess I'll go KDE

  • The current danish government is a circus act.. Can't wait for the next election and hopefully get a fresh start with a government that doesn't look at people as currency and keeps increasing the government labour force, without fixing anything..

  • Switching from reddit and X to lemme and mastodon has removed all the racism and political extremists from my life. Such a joy!

    Other than that, I'm on Facebook because of my sons football club has a group there and instagram to support my wife and receive the occasional meme worthy reel she sends me.

    I ditched google and apple photos backup for synology years ago and am just now trying immich, which is amazing BTW.

  • I'm running my Proxmox VE on a small asus mini pc with embedded cpu. It can't even match a 5 year old i3 and I'm having no issues.

    Running mainly containers and small projects
