I got the secret Light Theme for the PineTime!

Okay, this is not a secret light theme per-se, just a bug where colors get inverted, I have no idea how it happened, it just did, and even tho I think it looks pretty neet, it's quite bright...

I had to force reboot the watch (after 144 days of uptime... damn...) to get it fixed.

It is a known issue, and the next version of Infinitime should fix it, it seems (https://github.com/InfiniTimeOrg/InfiniTime/pull/2046)

Do you use anything to archive content for yourself or others? (research, videos, articles, and anything that could be lost to time or censorship)
  • Seems nice, but you need an external Player to watch the content, which can be goof for some people, but I like the webUI of TubeArchivist (even though it can be enhanced for sure)

  • I archive youtube videos that I like with TubeArchivist, I have a playlist for random videos i'd like to keep, and also subscribe to some of my favourite creator so I can keeptheir videos, even when I'm offline

  • Is Pine64 dead?
  • Especially when software already exists, it prevent duplicating efforts.

  • Is Pine64 dead?
  • It is, but they are talking about the hardware in these last release notes, about a chip that will get replaced in the actual hardware, therefor i don't think they are completely dead! Long lice Pine64

  • Is Pine64 dead?
  • Just looking at the Infinitime repo, they seem alive and well, even changing EoL chips

  • How to install Minecraft on Linux Mint?
  • PrismLauncher add some more things, such as CurseForge out of the box, it's a fork of MultiMC, so it will do all the things MultiMC can do. If you want to manage your servers easily, you might want to take a look at CraftyController ?

However, I didn't know MultiMC could sync mods between servers and clients? How does this work?

  • As other stated, if you bought the game, PrismLauncher is the best launcher out there!

  • I got some new band for my PineTime

My original wristband broke after 1 and a half year of continious use, and I got this one for cheap. I really like the black and white feeling of this combo, I had to cut off some extra material on the band as it was a bit big for the PineTime, but it ended up really good imo! I got this one from aliexpress for like 3 bucks, I got a black one too and switched the "band holder thingy" so it doesn't look too white!

Gitlab CI/CD : How to update flatpak (flathub) when a new release is created

    Hello everyone !

I have a quite complicated question/setup. I have my software on a Gitlab repo, and I'm publishing the software on flathub. everytime I do a release on Gitlab, I need to also update the flathub repo with the commit and the release tag, and I'm thinking this could be automated with Gitlab CI/CD.

    Exemple repo :

    • Gitlab : https://gitlab.com/Krafting/playlifin-gtk
    • Flathub Github : https://github.com/flathub/net.krafting.Playlifin/

When modifying the Flathub repo, I need to create a PR with my modifications and wait for the build process to complete. Then, I can merge the request.

Do you have any idea how can I automate the flathub part everytime I create a new release on Gitlab ?

My explaination might be a bit blurry, if that's the case, please feel free to ask for clarification.

Thank you for your time and answers!

    RAID Card temperature

    Hello everyone!

I have a small question for you guys. I currently have a server with a P420 PCIe RAID Card on it, the card itself gets really hot (at around 80-85C, even with an added fan on the heatsink. It is a DL380 G8e server with 10x8TB in a Hardware RAID 5 array.

My question is this: I know that I can put this card into IT mode (drive passthrough to the OS) but would this mean the card temperature would get lower ? I guess yes, but I want to know your experience !

    Thank you !
