We'll see how this plays out, they both are sure trying to sell their cars.
PVV has been kept out of the government for over a decade because of their ideology, ultimately becoming the biggest party and indeed they are now part of the government. Turns out, they can't get anything done because they don't really have anyone in their ranks who is actually capable of doing the actual work. Let's hope the same will be true for Reform, AfD and FN.
Labour is very good at ignoring progressive or environmentally minded voices from within their own ranks.
Is a lot closer to what is said in the article than "some young women are being "radicalised" into voting Green"
You have not read it.
You have to whore yourself to the masses if you want to make money in art or literature.
I think that has been the case since forever maybe. Most people use the verb to market because it sounds less awful, but it's not like a medieval painter got a job without having made a name for themself. Same for dancers, actors, scriptwriters etc. It is much easier to sell people people food and beer and sweaters and baskets and whatnot. Marketing your work is as essential to running your business (= making a living) as managing finances. I can understand you don't like this, but it's not really been different.
Just read the article
If content breaks rule you can warn with a comment or act by deleting content, you don't need the permission of someone else. It's good you try to establish whether others agree with you, but you don't need it in order to enforce a rule is what I mean as alternative.
I think it's good you started this thread, but I don't think it'll be easy to reach a democratic decision based on the comments in a post.
I think the joke has to do with what Volkswagen was during the nazi-regime, there were no hippie busses back then.
That's true, I'm not saying it's unfair to artificially up the price with import duties, just wanted to point out price is also an important factor in people's decisions.
I'm not against that, but there might not be any diplomatic bullets left in the metaphorical chamber. Not saying Russia should get away with this, but an eye for an eye isn't always the best reaction. I think they should take note (which they seem to do) and fix as many holes in the system as possible, rather than just revange and hope that will make Russia think twice next time.
Then why did they use the phrase "why isn't this ringing alarm bells?" to describe the only leftist political party remaining in the UK?
"This" refers to young woman voting different, on average more left then before. Read the article first, then comment.
Is there also an AI non-original? Nvm, my sorting showed this first so I didn't get it was a reaction to something. This is way better, what was someone thinking when they made an almost exact copy of this image? What's the point?
What consequences would you suggest then?
I think the choice you have to make is wether you want to control the community or want to guide the community.
If you want you could for example make a rule like: posts that are neither news nor uplifting will be deleted. And then warn someome who posts non uplifting non news with a comment on that post, and ignore all the backlash. Next time the same person posts another non uplifting non news, just straight away delete it. If you would only do things everyone likes, you would have no function. You're the boss, you make the choices. Everybody can disagree, but they have 0 power. They can go and make a non uplifting non news community if they want.
Didn't think I'd end up saying this but thank god he made that moron.
How is it gonna be a civil war if the military is not on the governments side? I mean i have seen the stuff the us police and ICE gets, but neither would have the numbers or the tactical knowledge to win from the effing military. If the military would try and overthrow the president, I can't imagine FBI and CIA would try and stop them.
Might turn out like in Turkey though, were nothing really happened except 100,000 people getting convicted of treason or fired from their job.
I'll be honest, even if that is the only real reason for them doing this, I would still consider this good news.
Trump pardons Nevada politician who paid for her plastic surgery with funds to honor a slain officer
If this were any other president than Trump it would've been a great Onion back in the day, but to be honest a headline like this wouldn't for a second make me doubt whether it's satire or not.
I agree, I don't see the writer arguing how radical or not the greens are. Her point is about these women, who are (just like young men) no longer voting for the parties in the middle. I think this is a trend also happening outside of the UK and here in The Netherlands nobody considers this a radical thing but we also have an ever increasing gap between the parties on the right (who attract more young men) and those on the left (who attract more young women).
I myself believe mysogonists in the far right behave much more problematic than the most radical climate protesters, and I understand why the attention goes to the increase of mysogony and racism. But I appreciate this article because it points out and explains quite well how young men voting right isn't the only thing happening in the political landscape.
Still disagree although I agree that is a very problematic aspect. I think the ai companies have been given too much freedom. I'm also fine with everybody choosing not to use it. I also agree artists were fucked over and deserve artistic credits and financial compensation, I will support them getting this. I myself have not generated an image that looks like something from Ghibli for example. But still, all things considered; I don't think banning all ai generated content a reasonable thing to do. But that has more to do with my world view concerning individual freedom than how I view ai generated things and the behaviour of ai companies.
