Not sure if you heard John Stones interview after the game. This is part of his interview. It looks like we have them spooked. There were no dark arts or cheating in that second half. But it certainly seems we have them running scared.
Will this game ever end or will it keep going until city score again??
These are the longest minutes of my life. The longer this goes on the more heartbreaking it will be if we don’t hold on.
We don’t need to do it this way. We could keep someone a little further forward to give us a break when we manage to clear.

This was always going to be very difficult for us. They are just so much better. I’m not buying any cheating, they are a well coached and much more adaptable than us. We are getting there but when we have to change from our starting XI we are much less effective.
Thankfully I wasn’t following this feed earlier. I didn’t feel the nerves many of you seem to have been feeling. I never thought we looked like getting beaten today. Yeah we sat to deep after we scored but we always seemed to have and answer to any Spurs attacks and Rays had everything covered. Solid mature performance despite missing some key players.
Can’t appeal a yellow card, only a straight red can be appealed.
So even with this weekends disappointment we are 2 points ahead of last year. Helps soften the blow.
I didn’t see the match but from the updates I got it seems we were wasteful. Maybe Leo will realise how much more effective he is when he come off the bench.
