  • It’s not that long ago when we could get a pint for €5 but I haven’t seen that in a while (although, I know there is a pub who does it)

  • Really happy with EndeavourOS for the last few months - started daily driving Linux in October last year.

    blendOS has caught my attention though, I’m very interested in using immutable distros more and more.

  • Both. I mainly use my Desktop but the laptop is nice for remote work or if I want a change of scenery

    From what I understand, it’s like Nix but Arch based. The /system.yaml file contains all of the packages installed on the system.

    I’ve used Thunder but found it a little buggy at times, although the dev was pretty active. I was also using it during the testing and pre-release so bugs were very much expected

  • I can gladly say that I’ve never had this happen. I can’t imagine how awful it must be to drink a coffee and all you smell is some cologne

  • A window manager would be similar to your Desktop Environment - better explanation.

    Since you mentioned that you’re using KDE, there’s an option in system settings called “Autostart”. You can then add Steam to the list of applications (or terminal commands) that start automatically.

    tbh, I’ve always had that feeling but never had enough experience with Linux to be 100% certain.

  • How’s Bazzite if gaming is not your main “thing”? I use my PC for work and video editing but I also enjoy gaming on the weekends if I get the chance. I’m happy with EndeavourOS, just curious.
