Honestly I'd just leave them black, trying to paint yellow stripes over black will send you mad.

Hazard stripes is another good option and yellow goes super nicely with red.

This is a really cool concept, nicely executed too. The fact that GW went there you go have some kroot that'll do is a real middle finger to tau players.

Ooooooh, I had not spotted him. That's a nice model too, it even has a metal backpack!

Interesting, how were the castings?

I know someone who was moaning about the quality of the casting on their made to order metal Yarrick. They were going on about how the model was a mess compared to stuff from the 90s. I assumed it was because they make so few metal minis at GW these days.

Good call, just had a look. It seems that the only old models left (warp spiders and fire dragons) are now cast in resin.

I immediately went to check when I saw your original comment. I also should have known as I think I had the one on foot back when he was released as part of the original fellowship set.

You know what, I didn't think to look through the Middle Earth stuff.
