  • Its absolutely digusting, have always said it should be illegal to charge for parking at hospitals. At the very least free short term parking should be made available for urgent visits.

My dad at the height of his illness drove himself to hospital and parked in the hospitals parking facilities, and I couldn't get on a flight for two days and had no one in that area to help me. So I had to pay an insane parking fee, which made everything so much more stressful for me financially while I was in the middle of grieving for my dying dad.

  • Had a weird suspicion but tonights dinner of beef and vegetable soup confirmed it, all warm/hot food since catching covid tastes really spicy to me... While I like spicy food, having every meal be spicy is going to get old quickly, especially as I transition back to solids (yay ulcers finally healing!).

  • No idea why I thought it'd be different, but I did my 7 day covid retest and it was instantly positive, like the minute the liquid hit the little thingy.

Really just want the contagious window to end so I can start taking care of myself and leave my bedroom, seven days is a long time to be stuck in a shoebox of a bedroom, even if I can't do much with myself.

  • Recently bought some new Sheet Society sheets, and holy hell has the quality dipped! Maybe I just got a shit batch, but I will not be spending that much again to find out.

Super bummed because I love my old washed cotton set, they were warm in the winter and cool in summer. This new one is just thin, see-through, and doesn't feel at all like washed cotton.

  • Lmao just gave the cat a tin of his new food which has veggies in, dude actually sniffed it, gagged, and the cried for different food.

He really loved the fish based one yesterday, so I don't think it's a brand issue, dudes just not keen on pumpkin and peas.

  • I work nights under white light and it's disgusting, some nights I spend the whole 8-12hrs with an awful headache. I begged to have them changed and their answer was to allow me to turn all but one light off which does shit all when it's still bouncing off all the windows.

  • White light needs to be banned, my eyes are turning to putty and my little noggin is going to explode.
