I wonder how Lemmy will cringe at itself in the 2030's
I agree, but I'm also optimistic because the glitchiness, server performance, and user interface issues are all things that can be fixed in the future.
It does kind of lack the same embarrassment that comes from self identifying as a Redditor
Same. I feel much better already. I'm very optimistic for Lemmy after it gets these initial technical issues worked out.
That plus their own app being abysmal. The official Reddit app is a terrible experience without the necessary features of the old ones
Yep, both Connect and Liftoff on the play store are good
Yeah, I really wish at least one of the major third party Reddit apps was able to launch their Lemmy version today, bit of course I understand it takes time
Goodbye Reddit drama, hello Lemmy drama
Is this coming to the Play Store?
This. People want and need a real app on the official stores to migrate from Reddit. I'm using Connect right now for this reason, but I hope it gets better
Same. Hopefully a good Lemmy app can take the old place Reddit is Fun had
Give it an hour or so
I'm on Connect, I hope the UI gets better, Lemmy has a lot of potential but it needs work
