  • Dude I did a play through about 4 years ago. It holds up to this day! Fucking fun game, and the color indicator around the enemies was a genius move. Makes it almost like a rhythm game.

Dang, I really need to get another light gun set up lol

  • I really enjoyed Radiant Silvergun. Just a nice well done shoot ‘em up.

Also partial to Albert Odyssey. The translation is remarkably bad but it did have a nice story and some sweet sprite work. Standard JRPG fair.

The best for me was the Panzer Dragoon series. All 3 are just top notch bangers.

  • Normally I would just let it slide, but I’m bored so why not have some discourse :)

    1. I do not own fire arms personally due to mental health issues. I do carry pepper spray and have a taser readily available. Worst case scenario a bow I use for hunting.
    2. There are legitimate uses for fire arms full stop. Protection against bodily threats, hunting, tyrannical government, etc.
    3. I support universal background checks and “common sense gun regulation”. It is a dangerous tool, but it is still just a tool. I’d love to see mandatory fire arm safety training before attempting to buy a gun.
    4. Workers rights are bogged down because of hierarchical systems designed towards uplifting the few and the expense of the many.

Why should the government have exclusive use of violence? In any case, the eventual goal (for me personally and people like me) is peace and liberty. Until that happens the working class must have access to fire arms. The people who should not own guns are those with mental health issues, and access should be limited to trained/responsible individuals.

  • So Microsoft is one of the most valuable companies in the entire world. They have a stranglehold on corporate America, power a huge the cloud infrastructure, hold one of the largest sources of telemetry/user data, and are the defacto standard of PC environments worldwide.

Why in the fuck do they need to pivot to ads? I’m genuinely curious. Even if they lost 50% of their entire business they would still be one of the most profitable companies in the world.

  • Several modular synth modules use joysticks for control over parameters, but one of the coolest I’ve seen is one from Delptronics that uses a wii nunchuck controller to send out control voltage. Hagiwo I believe also has a similar DIY design.

  • So this is an editorial with some data cited so I will attack it on those merits.

    1. The job market is largely a dog and pony show. Companies have all the power in the world when it comes to good jobs. The “golden job market” is for low paying jobs that suck to do. Rates need to go up full stop.
    2. They are correct in housing being a huge issue for both Z and Millennials. It missed the shot however for failing to identify corporate inclusion into the housing market driving up costs. Not to mention the parasite class known as landlords which has been a problem since the era of Lords and Serfs.
    3. The inflation argument is a misdirection. Look at corporate profits. The capital class is literally bleeding the worker class dry, while also lowering the quality of service/products.

I could go on but I encourage others to actually read the article and form your own opinions. CNN isn’t as biased as Fox or MSNBC but they ultimately put a liberal (as in liberal markets) spin on the news they choose to report.
