"Skip ad's" YouTube and "Skip Intro" on Netflix take the same amount of effort but I only hate the former.
  • Not Netflix, but some shows have amazing intros that change every episode, like GoT.

Hell the intro was the most interesting part of the first 95% of the first episode (the last two minutes totally made up for it though).

Some shows put unique gags in each intro, like Simpsons.

  • Comenting code
  • My comments are just the code that didn't work but I don't want to delete yet because I might make it work except I never will be cause I already rewrote it so it does.

  • Bad faith actors are busy these days.
  • Dude wants to de-rail the trolley. Hes so worried about the people on the tracks he forgot about the people on the trolley, and he's the one saying the trolley problem can't exist in a vacuum. Well motherfucker, why have an empty autonomous trolley?

  • Humans should lay eggs
  • Once you get it about 2/3rds of the way out, simply relaxing causes the rest to come out on its own.

The hard part of pushing out a baby is far less than 2/3 of the baby. Once you get past the shoulders they just slide out. And they are pretty slippery with all that amniotic fluid.

  • Barcelona is turning subway trains into power stations
  • Are they generating more power than they are spending by making the train go? Has Barcelona mastered perpetual motion??

It's good thing, sure, but it's no savior. The blurb makes it sound like it's a net gain of energy, and that's impossible. It's not free energy. It's just upcycled waste.

  • TIL if The Bare Naked Ladies had $1m when the song was recorded, and parked it in S&P500, they'd be rich.

While $1m USD in 1988 is worth only $2.6m in 2024, if they just put it in the S&P 500 back then and left it there, it'd be worth over $44.6m today.

I don't know if the Dijon ketchup is really worth it.
