  • Nah, I remember during his first presidency, it would sometimes be weeks lol. Checking out his Twitter posts was what finally convinced me Republicans are nowhere near the same as Democrats or that they are well intentioned politicians.

  • Yeah as much of an environmentalist that I am, I don't think prices surging that high in California (and the west coast in general, is my understanding) would be great from an environmental aspect. In the short term there would be some reduction in gas use, but I can imagine Republicans and other pouncing on this politically to roll back some environmental legislation.

  • Damn, 2500 a month for developing software is all y'all want? That's an absolute steal. I appreciate the work y'all do, and glad you posted this. I wasn't aware of what happened to keep this site working.

  • Lol its the governor of California, he can literally only have some control over what happens within California, with a couple of exceptions. PR is probably the main thing he can do. That being said, his PR message is probably not the best. You're right though, Canadians not giving money to the US, red or purple states in particular, can only help encourage Trump voters change their minds.

  • TLDW: Foxhole allows the environment to change in ways other games don't (snow causing direct death, visibility problems, rain causing mud which slows units down etc. ), and also providing options for dealing with these environmental concerns, gives off a realistic war feeling. This in combination with the fact that foxhole allows and requires players to participate in all aspects of fighting a war (material extraction, weapon manufacturing, transport manufacturing, transportation, building of defenses, actual fighting), help provide a feeling of participating in a war that other milsims don't show.

Admittedly, I feel like this game doesn't satisfy what people are looking for in a milsim. Foxhole is a top down shooter, while most milsims are over the shoulder 3rd person or 1st person with a huge focus on tactics and execution. Foxhole seems to pull out a bit more, still allowing tactics planning and execution, but overal strategy and logistics are also added into the game.
