Icl, I'd say it's the opposite in terms of we need less fatherlessness, not just for girls but boys as well; not only does no father figure often lead to degenerocity, particularly in women, but also since a father would care about protecting his daughter more than anything (hopefully), they can help/teach their daughters to protect themselves.
Women naturally being more compassionate, definitely leads to them being more vulnerable though, I agree.

The amount of data Windows and microsoft in general collect is worth billions and going straight to the hands of the US govt. for a price obviously, so yes they are profiting from your use regardless of whether you pay for it or not.
Gitlab is FOSS, as long as their code stays that way, and trustworthy, and you avoid their 3rd party US-based servers by self-hosting you should be fine.
Avoiding anything and everything that even exists in countries like the US and China or Russia even if completely transparent & FOSS or non-profiting is kind of crazy imo
In general you should aim to self-host & use FOSS as much as possible, regardless of where it's developed. This gives me similar vibes to when Linus Torvalds banned Russian people or people with Russian names or email addresses from Kernel development.
Icl, ik this is slightly irrelevant to the post but even though I never really liked Red Bull (mostly cuz of their highly processed and unnatural taste) I've always rated and supported their stunts and funding of athletes, which I think regardless of their political views should be acknowledged and supported.
Canada/UK should demand the land they once had in the US back and Mexico should demand the land the US forcefully stole from them back, simple. America should never have been viewed as a legitimate country in the first place.
