Honestly, I think it is pretty crazy to commit yourself to someone at age 19. I can definitely see how one might have a "taste the green on the other side" before everything closes in. I would say continue with her, at the same time make sure that your finances are somewhat separate and that you can support yourself in the lifestyle you want to live, even if shit hits the fan. Coming from a guy your age, with a gf of five years but a more vivid past (same as my GF)
Hab da Mal einen Studiengang Data Science im Master angefangen weil alle anderen Unis in meiner Stadt oder Fernunis Kurse aus dem Bachelor benötigt hätten die ich nicht hatte. Dieser Onlinestudiengang war dann so lächerlich schlecht gemacht, dass ich nach einer Woche vom Rücktrittsrecht gebraucht gemacht habe. Immerhin das ging problemlos.

I'm using it when I get stuck programming with some traceback I can't resolve or similar, mostly for Python/Django.
Even then it often forgets to close a loop or similar.
That's how I understand it too, but I just cannot wrap my head around why this would be a good idea. Why would anyone want having to have 5 different accounts just to browse all the communities they are interested in?
Agreed! I also believe we need to push through these toothing pains so that Lemmy can over time become a real contender and house more communities that were previously on Reddit.
