To each their own. I know plenty of people who don't even notice they're wearing them. I also know people who are or were very bothered by their glasses
Humans are quite a bit more complicated. I'd gladly go into depth sometime, but I don't think I can oversimplify the situation to match your statement.
Some of this behaviour has to do with (a bunch of) hormones, but also just homeyness, blood pressure, social ideas in their community, and in part just dumb luck. Humans are not the most precisely predictable things
No, and no. Not even just "not that simple". You're dead wrong. That's like saying I got from home to work because of "wheel". It's involved but it does not drive the show
