  • In this case its a bit different but what i see is that everything is oversexualized but the effect of that is people are actually more lonely because every social interaction you have with anyone who could be a sexual partner automatically becomes strange.

  • Jewish people lived next to muslim people in arab countries for a very long time but then ww2 happened and the dumbass americans decided that doing what the nazis wanted to do originally is a good idea so they just kinda said that the european jews should move to this random desert where a lot of middle eastern jews live. You wouldnt deport all the south american, african, asian, etc christians to europe just because of their religion.

  • There are exceptions of course but its mainly cities like the centre of tokyo where you have extreme density, money and incentive to live. Of course the other thing is skyscapers are cool af. I think the solution is the same as with cars and a lot of other things: moderation.

  • Yet another one of China's elite has disappeared after criticizing Xi Jinping
  • Yeah ukraine probably was but i still dont understand what kind of brain rot happened in hungary. The ussr (almost) always went easy on us but they decided that a country with excellent agriculture and absolutely no ores and heavy industry should prioritise the latter.

  • The gain from building higher isnt linear. You have to use more space for elevators, re-enforcements, safety(fire for example), etc. The cost of the apartments go up drastically so most people who buy them dont live there, they just invest. Midrises are much better in all of these aspects. Also the materials needed for skyscrapers harder to mamufacture so with all of these they are just plain worse for the environment. Göterborg is a pretty good example of how midrises are better in almost every case.

  • i need it, soz
  • You know its never good when the us or china sponsor infrastructure. They always want something back that is not money. Usually its intelligence but you never know. There are plenty of examples of african countries "getting helped" and it turns out it was so they could be spied on.

  • Google Is ‘Thinking Through’ How to Make the Pixel Watch Repairable
  • Btw there are things called "screws" and they can look cool on a more traditionally male watch or you can put it on the back plate androgynous or female watch. You dont need glue for waterproofing, thats just anti-repair propaganda. Look at every mechanical watch, gshock, garmin, etc they all have screws and 100,200 or even more meters of water resistance. If the battery, screen, back assembly and maybe the buttons are repairable thats already good for a smartwatch.

  • Actually true lol. I see people here with trailer thingies for their bicycles and they carry stuff with it. It probably has the same bed size as the newest "ford f-550 ultra extreme plus carbon dioxide poisoning engine from cruise ship edition"

  • Linux capable chip with really low power consumption?

I want to build a linux(yes i want linux specifically or a deritive of it) smartwatch as a prototype that lasts ~24 hours. Ive been looking for chips that are small and power effient enough but most of them cant run linux. If i have a 400mah battery that gives me a power budget of about 60mw... I know its possibly because there are wearos(basically android) watches that last 3-4 days. I dont know what kind of sorcery that is but that means it consumes about 15mw??? I really do feel like im miscalculating something but i checked multiple times. Do they hibernate linux/android and run it off of another chip. I also dont know how to excecute that properly and its kind of off topic of my question. So point is linux on a ~60mw budget in s smartwatch. I want to use a mip display as i really like the look and it uses little power but if ever want a heart rate sensor in it thats even more power consumpotion. Thanks in advance i guess if a saint answers this shitstorm of a question.

    Looking for really small motors

Im building a flashlight and i want to test if a fan in it would be a good idea but the flashlight is really small so i would need a motor thats smaller than 1 cm preferably. I found really good ones at maxon group but unless you order them in bulk(1000+ units) they cost like 400€. So do yall know anywhere i could find them? Thanks in advance! (Edit: Im a complete baffoon and forgot to specify that preferably i would need a water resistant fan. I assumed this because bldc motors without drivers are wter resistant)
