  • Totally fine, work is work, you decide what you want to do with your life and if that fills the gap more power to you.

We need more regulation though, like Amsterdam where if you're working you have to get weekly check ups, and psychological counseling should be freely available.

Sex work is a good industry but it also harbors trafficking which needs to be cracked down on hard.

  • Safty-less pistol owner here. Glock-19 Gen3. Even though the gun is resistant to firing unless the trigger is pulled (ie dropping it) it won't go off. That being said, I never carry with a round chambered because of this. It takes a half a second extra to chamber the round, I'd rather take that than carry a loaded round pointed at my spine or crotch all day.

  • I'd say go a step further. He took an innocent life knowingly and showed complete lack of remorse, why should his life continue? Is there really a benefit to society in the slightest to allow him to continue existing?

Just give him the death sentence and let his parents cope with the fact they failed at raising a child so badly that it had to be put down.

  • Per both 2018 and 2021 UK and US statistic reports, the UK has more than double the amount of knife/cutting instruments than the US per capita, so let's just ftfy.

I'm not disagreeing, you are correct, guns are indiscriminate, blades are confrontational. But to reiterate from my previous point, it doesn't matter WHAT weapon, people will still kill people. Ban guns? Stab em with a knife. Ban knives? Baseball bat. Ban blunt weapons? Sock full of nickles.

If somebody wants someone else dead, they're gonna find a way. People are all sorts of fucked up.

  • The thing is, when were talking "providing munitions and bombs" this is not like a US Senetor signing an invoice form. These deals are handled by private defense contractors who essentially are war stock brokers who either hop on government requisition contracts or middleman the logistics of shipping.

The "government's" only actual input is posting the RFIs and signing off on the contractors involvement. And these contractors are literally anyone. You and I could start a LLC right now and because of FAR requirements (laws that give small buisnesses advantage on some contracts) start bidding on these contracts with no prior experience whatsoever.

Bibi is on the consumer end of the deals so I don't doubt he has near full involvement. But the reason the US is to blame, is they allow the open market trade of Warfare.

  • And here we see the "guns don't kill people, people kill people" side of the argument. Sure you take away the gun related deaths, but are stabbings any better?

Either way, I hope the perp gets the chair. Unless they don't have the death sentence in the UK, then ship him to Texas, we'll cook him to a pile of ash.

  • Not so much interest in the land - no oil or natural gas- more so in pushing the "everything not governed by us is a shithole-watch us bomb it to submission" bootlicker mentality.

I'm all for anti-terrorism, but the longer a foreign entity is on their land, the more terrorists it ends up creating.

  • Used to eat Boca Burgers after school around 15 years ago and those things slapped. Like a minute in the microwave, throw some Monterey jack cheese on that bad boy, tasted like a slightly dry chicken sandwich.

Not sure if the recipie has changed since the plant based meat revolution, but I would have no problem with it replacing general consumption meat.

I still think there should be natural livestock meat available to consumers. Unless the dish your eating is meat focused( i.e. steak, bone-in chicken, ribs) I think there are very few who really would care/notice if the meat in their food was plants, because it's essentially a fat saturated spice delivery tool.

  • We need an Olympic sport that's just track hurdles but replaced with scattered furniture arrangements, and the competitors need to weave through without banging a shin on a coffee table.
