It is difficult to overestimate this work. Downed scouts mean many lives saved and equipment preserved, because the enemy uses them for further strikes, including ballistics on our cities.
In addition, this is also a significant saving on scarce missiles for air defense systems. Previously, the cost of shooting down such targets ranged from $100,000 to a couple of million, but now the cost of shooting down is less than $1,000. Savings allow us to shoot down Russian missiles more often, because we spend less valuable resources on UAVs.
