Uni with quail egg and Toro
Near my work is a fab little joint. I come on Wednesday evenings a minimum of once per month. Fish is great quality and nice size cuts.
Bao buns and spring rolls
Today in Battleford, Saskatchewan, we had a street festival and at this event were several food trucks. We got Bao buns and spring rolls from one. The Bao on the left is a brisket filled one and the one on the right is pork belly... Wow, so good. Plus the weather was great for mid September here it was 28*C
Francesinha
Francesinha is a Portuguese sandwich, originally from Porto, made with layers of toasted bread and assorted hot meats such as roast, steak, wet-cured ham, linguiça, or chipolata over which sliced cheese is melted by the ladling of a near-boiling tomato-and-beer sauce called molho de francesinha.
Pain au chocolat aux amandes avec gianduja. Like an everything bagel, but for viennoiserie!
Half cook a pain au chocolat, take it out of the oven, cut it lengthwise, fill it with gianduja and almond cream, then top it with more almond cream and actual almonds et voilà !
