According to many sources, Lachrymator was the first-ever death metal band in Massachusetts. They shared a jam space with "Putrid Decay" who ended up spinning off into "Shadows Fall". Their most technical lineup (after 1993) was Jake Stevens on rhythm guitar, Jamie Lamagdelaine on drums, David Sharpe on lead guitar, and Larry on bass/vocals.
