His argument would be valid if the industry didnt engage in financial manipulation commonly known as hollywood accounting. So yeah you got to be a moron to say the stuff he is saying, especially at his position.
Probably mad despite armies of writers to prop him up, he's still deeply unfunny.

An irrelevant boomer "comic" who used to be basically just a smarmy standard Hollywood liberal type but has progressively become more and more reactionary as he's gotten older. Now he just spends his show time (HBO sinking money on him... no idea why) ranting about "entitled millennials!" And whatever stupid shit. Nothing he says ever makes sense or is remotely coherent.
Racist piece of shit, that says stuff like all religions are bad but focuses on the one followed by one billion predominantly people of color and promotes zionism so his atheism mask falls off pretty quickly.
Always worth remembering the obvious fundamentals: owners produce nothing, they only suck surplus value. The CEOs of these mega media corps all expect payment in stock and such adding up to $10s and $100 of millions per year. All of that should, by right, be divided amongst workers. But besides that, the fact the corp can pay one non-worker $100M or whatever is absolute proof they can pay the rest their relatively small demands. It's just pure theft and greed.
