So, apparently vim went down partially cos Nintendo shit. Where do I get romsets for older systems for archival purposes?

That said you can find lots of archives here
I've been using a wonderful internet archival service, never fails, always has all the romsets.
Which one, and which sets?
I used internet archive and nearly poisoned my batocsra drive with bootlegs
Check the comments, the nointro sets were fine when I used them. I don't download the complete sets because it's full of stuff I'd never touch
I typically grab the 1g1r (1 game 1 rom) sets. There’s a really good collection there.
I have the feeling you are going through all steps of an emulation person. :D I've seen your previous posts, its kinda funny. (No bad faith by me, just thinking back to my days...)
I didn't know links to Rom sites is allowed here. You can search for results of archive.org like with
mario site:archive.org. But there are really amazing Rom sites, some of my favorites:Oki, thank you.

I know. I used Vimm too, and still do for very certain stuff. Being in emulation scene since over
1520 years and only discovered Vimm last year, lol. This wouldn't be the first major site we lose. Whatever happens, there will always be such sites. So don't worry, Nintendo can't fight entire world, nor want they.
