A restaurant must pay workers $140,000 after allegedly hiring a fake priest to extract confessions of workers’ ‘sins’

So he didn't pay the workers all their wages but paid someone to see if the workers were stealing. $5,000 penalty seems small.

Imagine being so short sighted and so insecure that you throw away 140,000 just to see if your employees were stealing. Christ…

Im catholic. If that happened to me I would be driven to sin in anger. I'm so angry that I have to confess just because of the bad thoughts I'm having. I'm so angry.

That is so blasphemous that I literally think that defacing a famous church would be less sinful. I'm so unbelievably incredibly angry.

I hope they burn in hell, which is unjust for me to think. I literally am going to have to talk to my priest about this for a long enough time to annoy him.
