I hate lots of cars, I also dont sympathise with anyone who has problems with their Cybertruck. But going out of your way to shit on something that makes someone else happy makes you an asshole.
IDK, Theres plenty of big trucks, its no bigger than an F250. Tesla have made about 4000 Cybertrucks so far, Ford sold over 750,000 F-series trucks in 2023... Most people probably dont NEED a big truck but Tesla arent much more than a drop in that bucket.
I mean, I kind of like the styling of it as a "Lol, why the fuck not" its stupid and fun, if you have the money why not. But I think some people take owning a Cybertruck as right wing virtue signaling, Musk certainly hasnt made himself any more popular since it was released, constant shenanigans at Tesla and the constant stories about issues with them.
Its gone from a weirdly designed car to a whole thing
The optics of owning a Cybertruck has certainly gotten worse, but even as just a "weirdly designed car", it was always going to garner a lot of attention.
It isn't like owning a Tesla, which was, for a while, just an expensive EV. The Cybertruck was always a shock factor vehicle.
