Ohio judge blocks ban on gender-affirming care for transgender minors—for now

The Supreme Court just recently rushed to remove a lower court's block on an anti-trans law in Idaho, so I wouldn't count on this sticking.
They'll take their sweet time figuring out if a president is freely able to commit crimes, but when some stupid conservative culture war stance is on the line, they'll jump into high gear.
- How else can the GQP keep their base angry about an imaginary bogyman?!
Love that Tom Holland is out there showing his support.
Not able to drive, nor join the military, nor drink, nor smoke, nor vote, nor rent a car, nor get a tattoo etc
But making potentially permanent decisions about sexual identity? Sure!

  I'm not trolling. I legitimately don't understand how people can justify this kind of "treatment" for kids. There is a reason we don't allow the other things I mentioned. It's because the judgement and experience of a minor is inadequate. We are protecting young people from making mistakes and hurting themselves or others. They will have the rest of their adult life to determine how they want to live and/or medically alter their biochemistry.
