Hexbear is the_donald of the fediverse. They're doing it to troll and get people angry.

It's like they think this is a shield or something. They spew this bullshit and they think it will stop people from criticizing them because they are so noble. We see through the bullshit. We know what they are.
- They’re using it as a shield, but it’s also much worse than that, it’s textbook toxic manipulators trying to control the narrative: „Look what you made me do!“. They’re trying to guilt-shame the other party into submission.
  The utter lack of LGBT content on ~~hexbear~~ whinograd is quite telling, also apparently someone on there took notice and they’re trying really hard to push some pro-trans memes now 😂

Hexbear is fascist. They're pretending to be tankies, but every single post on there is right-wing and bigoted. It's so damn obvious.

Where does blahaj say they have no quarter for hexbear users (I see lemmygrad users, but not hexbear) and how is being okay with trans people but personally preferring boobs over penises "chaser" behavior? Why is screenshotting relevant DMs between admins defed-worthy? Is removing heated political conversations ableist? (I see the "X-tard" part of the screenshot, but 80% of the screenshot looks like a communist getting mad and borderline ad hominem, beyond any point about using appropriate language.)
I'm a leftist and all for the Fediverse being able to choose who to federate with, but often the receipts posted by Fedi admins seem incredibly weak. Absolutely protect marginalized people with your full strength and might, but it seems like the people most directly hurt here are the hexbear admin themself. But I don't know, I'm just a random nobody, all I can see are the receipts the admin shows me 🤷
- Yep. They read a bunch of stuff in the worst possible light ever, called the people involved a bunch of nasty names, and left. Basically typical Hexbear behavior.

- lemmy.blahaj.zone is run by trans women. That's the thing that weirds me out the most. The owners are trans but hexbear is trying to make it sound like they're some kinda Nazi anti-lgbt crowd.
  Edit: all I can say is that I'm glad that my doesn't seem to be federated with hexbear.
  
  It feels like an effective way to undermine vulnerable people. Just accuse them of shit that makes them look bad to their target audience. It's up there with accusing people of doing things that you're actually doing to convince people that what you're doing is normal.

I love how much these bad-faith actors use the phrase “good faith”. Like if I scream loud enough that I’m virtous, no one will judge me by my actions.
Dumb drama. Defederating over one community not allowing them to control the narrative.
