I'm disappointed every time I see a potentially good argument ruined with kid-pidgin like 'u' and 'r'. At that point, I feel as if it were written in crayon.
The medium matters.
Small minds nitpick over unimportant details. This is how ppl talk over text on the Internet since forever.
Not even just the internet. This kind of shorthand must have become extremely popular once texting became widespread.
