Tucker Carlson did not ask Putin about how so many of his opponents wind up imprisoned and murdered, or the warrant the International Criminal Court has out for his arrest for war crimes in Ukraine.
Because Republicans don't hide who they are, every segment of society knows exactly where they stand whith conservatives, whether you are black or gay or immigrant or Muslim, you know exactly where you stand with Republicans. Democrats are like a snake in the grass. They hide among you and are difficult to see until they're ready to strike. They co-opt the language of the marginalized give them a sense of inclusivity and then use them as tokens to remain in power. A wolf out in the open where we can see them is less dangerous than a snake hiding in the grass among us
