End of line: Last of Irelands phone boxes to be removed

In recent years, disused phone boxes have been donated to community groups and repurposed as defibrillator sites, tourism kiosks and even religious shrines.

What sort of religious shrines, I wonder? Would these make for decent fae houses, or be regarded as an insult if arranged as such?
