ISO 8601 gang. You’d never want to describe dates that way but for file management the convenience is massive.

mkdir $(date +%F)_photos
is super handy.

1 3 ReplyThat is the basic format of ISO8601, hyphens are only used in the extended format which is encouraged to be used in plain text.
